Who we are

Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland is your local homelessness charity, based in Hinckley. We believe in seeing the person and their strengths, and supporting them to take the next steps towards the future they want.

For more than a decade, we've supported people as they rebuild their lives after homelessness by providing accommodation, tailored support, training and work experience.

Following a period of change, we're building a stronger and more sustainable future so we can continue that work. Our Emporium charity shop in Hinckley plays a central role in those plans, generating vital income while continuing to serve the local community.

Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland is part of a national network of Emmaus charities, supporting more than 1,000 people every year. We are also part of Emmaus International, a global movement operating in more than 40 countries to tackle homelessness, poverty and social exclusion.
