Faithworks Wessex

Who we are

Faithworks is an independent Christian charity that builds partnerships with churches and others in the community to run practical, local projects in urban Dorset that equip people to get out, and stay out, of crisis and make life-enhancing choices.

These projects include running 5 foodbank-plus sites, budget coaching and debt advice (part of national network "Community Money Advice"), accom/skills/community activities to help rough sleepers off the street, support to reduce isolation for lone parents and carers, ... and new ideas to link churches and partners together to serve those in crisis! 

In particular, we want every individual in crisis in urban Dorset to be within a mile of crisis help, every volunteer to find a bespoke role in Faithworks, and every local church to be equipped to reach their community with practical and Godly hope.
