About Us

Our mission: To support single homeless adults in Waltham Forest towards transforming their lives.

Forest Churches Emergency Night Shelter, FCENS, is an independent charity working to serve the needs of the single homeless adults in Waltham Forest. Our vision is that no one should need to be homeless in our borough and everyone has a place to go.

We run two projects for single homeless adults:

  • The Night Shelter which runs from 1st November to 31st March each year providing up to 15 bed spaces.
  • The Drop-In providing advice and support weekdays Monday to Wednesday 10 am to 3 pm, Thursday 10 am to 12 pm all year round.
