About us

Who we are

FEAST: Feeding and Empowering All Sustainably Together

FEAST’s mission is to improve the nutrition, wellbeing, and health of people at risk of food insecurity. We work with community partners and volunteers to provide regular nutritious community meals and healthy eating on a budget programmes. Our work nourishes and empowers vulnerable people in homeless hostels, mental health day centres and community centres across London.

Our nutritious community meal services, known as "FEASTs," use donated surplus food to prepare meals in line with the Eatwell guide. These are more than just meal services; they are welcoming, inclusive, social spaces that bring people together and reduce social isolation. We also prepare and deliver nutritious meals to hostels and community centres for individuals experiencing food insecurity to collect.

FEAST's Healthy Eating on a Budget (HEB) Programme empowers people by building nutrition knowledge, and developing practical cooking, food hygiene and budgeting skills. HEB builds confidence to help people make healthier choices to achieve nutritional independence. FEAST is also committed to broader systemic change through nutrition research and collaborative food partnerships, to ensure local residents have access to nutritious, affordable and sustainable food.
