Who we are
Launched in Australia in late 2022 and in the UK in 2024, the Global Cooksafe Coalition (GCC) is a response to the growing awareness of the impacts of dangerous fuels and their use for cooking. We are currently expanding into Europe.
GCC is a platform for members, partners and government supporters–who are leaders in the spheres of public health, property and the built environment, aid and development, renewable energy and climate change science and advocacy–to bring their expertise and experience together to ensure the movement towards safe, sustainable cooking
