About us
Who we are
Grantham Foodbank is part of the Trussell network, working to support people in Grantham and the surrounding area who are experiencing hardship and crisis. We provide emergency food and compassionate, non-judgemental support to individuals and families when they need it most, while also working with local partners to help address the underlying causes of poverty.
Rooted in the local community, Grantham Foodbank is powered by a dedicated team of volunteers, staff, and trustees. Guided by strong values and a commitment to good governance, we work collaboratively to ensure our services are welcoming, effective, and sustainable, and that everyone who needs support can access help with dignity.
Our culture and values
Founded through a collaboration of local Grantham churches, Grantham Foodbank continues to be shaped by a strong sense of community, compassion, and shared responsibility. We are committed to dignity, inclusion, and non-judgemental support, working collaboratively and with strong governance to serve people facing hardship.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
Grantham Foodbank is committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion. We treat all clients, volunteers, staff, and trustees fairly, oppose discrimination in all forms, and work to create an environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and able to contribute.
