About us
Who we are
Happy Days Homeless and in Crisis Charity is a community-focused organisation dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, crisis, or complex life challenges. The charity provides a wide range of services designed to help people move from crisis to independence and long-term stability.
At the heart of Happy Days’ work is its supported housing provision, offering 68 self-contained accommodation units where residents receive personalised support to rebuild their lives, develop life skills, and work towards independent living.
The charity also runs a Complex Lives Drop-In Service, providing accessible, wraparound support in one place. This includes health clinics, housing advice, substance use support, and other essential services delivered in partnership with local agencies.
A welcoming Community Café and Social Supermarket ensure that individuals and families can access affordable food, a warm meal, and a friendly space to connect with others.
During the six coldest months of the year, Happy Days operates a Winter Shelter, offering emergency accommodation and compassionate support for those who would otherwise be sleeping rough.
Through its holistic approach, Happy Days Homeless and in Crisis Charity works to restore dignity, hope, and opportunity — empowering people to build brighter, more secure futures.
Our culture and values
At the heart of everything Happy Days does are its core values:
