Hazon Consulting: optimising people potential through occupational psychology
A little bit about me…
I have worked within recruitment for the last 8 years at both a consultant and managerial level, before leaving to set up my own consultancy, Hazon Consulting. When translated, Hazon means ‘vision’. My ‘vision’ for my own consultancy is to recruit and consult in an ethical, open and effective way.
This vision incorporates providing an excellent consultative service and ensuring near perfect matches between clients in terms of sourcing their ideal candidate, and candidates in terms of their ideal role. As part of a skilled consulting team, I also provide individual, team and organisational support to charities.
My recruitment style...
In terms of my recruitment style, I offer a different approach to the major corporate agencies because I do not recruit solely for the purpose of satisfying financial targets and figures. Instead, I work to find good people their ideal role (please see my Linked-in profile for recommendations).
Having the time to establish a positive fit in this way, means that it is rare for placements to fail because lots of leg-work in the matching of person to job expectancy, culture and organisational requirements has already taken place, prior to a placement being made.
My approach further differs in that I bring my occupational psychology skills and experience to my consultancy work. This may extend from job profiling to CV sifting, job and person specification design, bespoke assessment centre (large or small-scale), competency interview design, panel support during interviews and the use of psychometric testing to determine candidate ability and personality-type. I am also BPS (British Psychological Society) qualified in being able to report back psychometric test feedback. Other support includes: team development activities, individual and team coaching and support with change management.
