About us

Who we are

Based on the Isle of Mull, The Hebridean Whale & Dolphin Trust continue to advance knowledge, inspire action and drive ocean recovery. HWDT works to achieve the long-term conservation of Scotland’s whales, dolphins, and porpoises through an integrated program of work to:

1. Carry out long-term research to monitor cetaceans in Scottish seas,

2. Inspire individuals, communities and partners to take action and,

3. Influence decision-makers to protect the marine environment.
