About us
Who we are
Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity removes barriers to learning and life for children, young people and adults with dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties by providing direct expert, personal and life-changing support to over 1,000 people a year.
We also support parents of dyslexic children, teachers, and employers of dyslexic staff.
We deliver bursary supported services to disadvantaged people, with dyslexia from low-income backgrounds.
Services include consultations, assessments, 1:1 tuition, skills development, workshops and courses. We also train teachers and teaching assistants in the support of learners with dyslexia - many will go on to deliver support in the classroom on a daily basis.
We operate from our office in Farnham, Surrey and most of our services are also available online.
