About us
Who we are
Our aim is to provide early support to families who are facing the challenges and stresses of family life, including a wide range of difficulties such as isolation, low self-esteem, physical and mental health issues.
We work alongside parents in their homes and the community to help raise their self-confidence and their ability to cope in an increasingly pressured society. Our emphasis is on parents helping parents.
We support families living in the borough of Epsom & Ewell, and Banstead wards up to M25 and Mole Valley North (Ashtead, Leatherhead, Fetcham & Bookham)
Our culture and values
Home-Start Epsom, Ewell and Banstead offers practical and emotional support to parents with young children in the local communities of Epsom, Ewell and Banstead, as well as the North of Mole Valley (Leatherhead and North. For areas South of Leatherhead, please contact Home-Start East Surrey).
We offer a unique service, recruiting and training volunteers who have parenting experience themselves, to visit families at home who have at least one child under 5 and offer informal, friendly and confidential support.
To help give children the best possible start in life, Home-Start supports parents as they grow in confidence, strengthen their relationships with their children and widen their links with the local community.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
Home-Start Epsom, Ewell and Banstead welcomes and values difference. Equality of opportunity is at the heart of all we do. We treat everyone with respect and offer equal chances to participate.
We actively encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds and experiences to apply.
