Who we are
House Recruitment is a boutique recruitment consultancy founded in 2009. We work with SMEs, professional services firms, membership bodies, and regulators: organisations where every hire genuinely matters and relationships are built for the long term.
We're small by design. That means the person you speak to is the person doing the work: no handoffs, no volume targets driving decisions. Just honest, considered recruitment support from someone who takes your mission seriously.
We also have a reputation for writing job advertisements that do something most don't: they make people want to read them. In a sector where recruitment content is often formulaic, we take a different approach, blending insight, storytelling, and marketing principles to attract people who genuinely connect with an organisation's values.

Our culture and values

Our founder, Michelle, is proudly MadeByDyslexia, and that shapes how we think. We're wired for creative problem-solving, pattern-spotting, and finding the unconventional route when the obvious one isn't working. We don't default to the familiar; we ask better questions.
