About us
Who we are
UK-based technology social enterprise IDEMS develops the impact-enabling digital infrastructure and impact products needed to affordably, sustainably scale expert-developed social interventions in variable low-resource communities globally.
Our innovation emerges from applied R&D in long-term multidisciplinary innovation collaborations. In these Impact Innovation Collaboratories, IDEMS impact-trained mathematical scientists and applied technologists partner with field-leading experts, UN agencies, global and local NGOs and researchers, and affected stakeholders to address grand challenges including education, public health and climate resilience.
At the heart of our work is pioneering meaningful semantic interoperability. Grounded in the application of frontier mathematical theory and made possible by advances in AI, IDEMS innovation transforms impact programme code and content into structured, reusable atomic data elements that can be malleably reordered, recombined or replaced to create unlimited, entirely new programme applications. All are interoperable down to the structured atomic data element level.
The innovation enables local stakeholders to develop, adapt, and own localised digital impact programmes and retain connection with an evolving impact programme data infrastructure core, co-governed by local stakeholders and global experts, for continuous collaboration, iteration and improvement.
