About us

Who we are

International Health Partners (IHP) supports people in hard-to-reach, vulnerable and disaster-hit communities to get the medicines they need, by coordinating the safe and responsible donation of long-dated medical products. We act as a vital bridge between the pharmaceutical industry and frontline healthcare NGOs, connecting the resources, expertise, and products of healthcare companies with the reach and experience of aid agencies. Through these partnerships, we ensure that surplus medicines and medical supplies reach vulnerable and underserved communities around the world.

In the last 3 years IHP has reached over 54 million patients in more than 25 countries across the world through its response in disasters and in long-term health programming including places such as Yemen, Ukraine and Gaza.

Our Christian faith underpins all that we do. It motivates us to care for those in need, and give our best in all circumstances as an expression of God's love. We serve those in need regardless of gender, sexual orientation, ethnic or religious background, believing that all people are of equal worth

IHP is a UK charity (1105455) and a licensed and regulated distributor of medical aid.

Our culture and values

Faith and Compassion – our Christian faith underpins all that we do. It motivates us to care for those in vulnerable and disaster-hit communities and give our best in all circumstances as an expression of God's love.

Respect and Dignity – we believe that all people are of equal worth, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, ethnic or religious background. We place respect for others at the heart of everything we do.

Integrity and Transparency – we understand that good stewardship of resources, open decision-making and regular reporting to our supporters are essential in building trust with our partners.

Safety and Excellence – we are committed to ensuring that all donated healthcare products are safely and professionally handled for the benefit of the patient.

Equality, diversity and inclusion policy

IHP has an active Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Working Group that is led by a staff team.  All staff are invited to attend, participate and shape our EDI approach and plan.  The working group enjoys the active participation of, and support from, management as well as oversight by our Board of trustees.
