Know Your Worth

Who we are

 Know Your Worth was launched in May 2022 in Oxford, born from a deep concern for teenage girls struggling with low self-worth, motivation, and self-esteem. What began as a local response has now grown into a movement.

Since our launch, our dedicated team has supported more than 200 girls through our Know Your Worth course—offering safe spaces for reflection, growth, and empowerment.

The Know Your Worth Self-Esteem Course is an 8-week programme designed to help teenage girls build confidence, understand their value, and make positive, informed decisions in their lives. Delivered in schools and community settings, the course creates a safe, non judgemental space where girls can explore topics such as identity, relationships, emotions, and resilience. Through creative activities, open discussion, and reflective exercises, participants are encouraged to grow in self-awareness and self-esteem.

Today, our staff run courses in both the north and south of England, and our impact is expanding thanks to a growing network of passionate individuals, who we call Esteem Builders. These are youth workers, teachers, and community leaders trained to deliver our course to young people in their own communities. So far, we've trained over 20 Esteem Builders, and their work has taken Know Your Worth to places like Northern Ireland, Cornwall, Cheltenham, and Essex.

We're proud of how far we've come and the slow, yet steady growth since May, 2022 and look forward to what is ahead.
