Who we are
Leuchie is the national respite charity giving families a break from the physical and emotional responsibilities of caring for a loved one. We are dedicated to supporting individuals and families living with a neurological condition such as MS, MND, Parkinson’s and stroke through short respite breaks and outreach services. Our expert team work to transform lives by improving health, enabling independence and tackling loneliness.
We provide a range of settings that suit the health needs and circumstances of the individual and their family. These include short breaks with 24-hour nursing and care at Leuchie House, accessible self-catering accommodation for all the family or regular at-home support.
Through innovative partnership working and research, we are reimagining the delivery of respite as a way of meeting wider health and social care outcomes for the families we support.
