Who we are
Lewisham Disability Coalition works to promote equality for disabled people and to provide services that support Independent Living.
Our Advice Service is accredited by the Advice Quality Standard Mark.
Our recent funders and supporters include London Borough of Lewisham Main Grants, Community Connections (Communities that Care Fund), Big Lottery Fund, Chelsea Building Society, London Catalyst, the Lee Charity of William Hackliffe, Scope, Tesco, Sainsburys as well as individual donations.
We are also the Local Trusted Organisation for ChART
As part of the Big Local Programme, the Chinbrook Big Local area was awarded £1million in wave 2 of the 3 wave programme. Since then a range of local residents and agencies have been working together to deliver projects that reflect the views and aspirations of local people.
This group has worked to bring local people together to form partnership, led by residents, to drive the programme for the benefit of all that live in the Chinbrook Big Local area.
