Who we are

Lifecentre is a charity based in West Sussex founded in 2001 offering compassionate, trauma‑informed therapeutic support to people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds who have experienced unwanted sexual incidents. Whether through listening ears, safe environments, or tailored therapy programmes, our qualified and caring team walks beside every individual helping them unlock their past, navigate the present, and reclaim a brighter future. 

At our core is a mission to create safe havens without judgment, delivering consistently first‑class therapy through highly experienced counsellors. We cherish diversity, show kindness, and nurture hope, believing deeply in the transformative journey of every survivor. 

Behind the scenes is a small but dedicated team: around 25 therapists, 15 staff and a trustee board. Together, we ensure that every service we offer embodies integrity, compassion, and excellence. 

In 2024/2025 Lifecentre delivered 5,557 trauma‑informed therapy sessions and supported 731 clients accross three in person sites, via video call or telephone, all provided free of charge thanks to the generosity of donors, grants and contracts.

We measure our impact rigorously: for every £1 invested, Lifecentre generates £10.50 in social value—and clients across all age groups report profound improvements in safety, self-esteem, emotional well-being, relationships, and more.
