Who we are

Lismore is an island rich in history and Gaelic heritage and is home to a vibrant Historical Society, Comann Eachdraidh Lios Mòr, Lismore Gaelic Heritage Centre. The Centre is an innovative, eco friendly building at Ionad Naomh Moluag (the gathering place of St Moluag) and comprises a Museum, Library, award-winning Café and Gift Shop. Sitting beside the centre is the award winning Taigh Iseabal Dhaidh a faithfully reconstructed cottar’s cottage.
