Who we are

The Long Eaton Militaires is a marching carnival band from Nottingham in the UK that is recognised across the world. The Long Eaton Militaires Carnival Band has been entertaining the public since 1971. With their colourful uniforms and modern, upbeat musical arrangements the band has become well known both nationally and internationally. As well as having performed in front of royalty the bands biggest success over recent years has been there participation in the shanghai tourism festival 2013. This was broadcasted on live Chinese television in front of millions of people. The Long Eaton Militaires also has strong connections with the Voll Freud German Band, and as a result the Long Eaton Militaires has become well known in the Essen, Koln and Dusseldorf area's of Germany, performing alongside groups from Holland, Bulgaria, Turkey and France.
