Who we are

Established in October 2013, Manchester Central Foodbank is a Trussell Trust-affiliated charity providing emergency food to people in crisis across central, east and north Manchester. The three weekly foodbank sessions now support around 1,300 people per month.

How a Foodbank works:

  • Food is donated
  • Food is sorted and stored
  • Clients receive emergency food
  • Clients are signposted to further support
