Established in 1994 in collaboration with the World Health Organization, the Mentor Foundation is a leading international independent youth development NGO working in the field of substance abuse prevention, whose work is recognized by UNODC, UN ECOSOC, the Council of Europe, the OAS, the IOC and WHO.
It is a developing international membership organization of nonprofit organizations dedicated to the prevention of substance abuse amongst children and young people. National organizations affiliated to the Mentor Foundation operate in Colombia, Germany, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Sweden, Uganda, the UK and the USA.
