Who we are

Merton and Sutton Mediation (MSM) is an independent charity no. 1121378, and a company limited by guarantee no. 6322879. The charity has its own board of trustees who meet every 6 to 8 weeks. MSM is a small, local charity, providing a community mediation service in the London Boroughs of Merton and Sutton, (and occasionally outside the borough e.g. in Kingston, where no community mediation service is currently operating) dealing with neighbour and other community disputes, and some disputes within families. We also carry out community cohesion work, through providing workshops and facilitating meetings aimed at bringing different sections of the community together to work for the benefit of their communities. This includes some intergenerational work. We train volunteer mediators from the community who work with our paid staff to deliver the service.
