About us
Who we are
Moss Hall Playcentre is an independently run Charitable Incorporated Organisation, registered with the Charity Commission in 2017 (Charity Number 1174872), providing an after school club and holiday camps. We work in close co-operation with Moss Hall Infant and Junior Schools. We are an Ofsted registered, not-for-profit organisation managed by a Board of Trustees.
We have a dedicated team and our emphasis is on free play. Children of all age groups can choose from a wide range of activities including sports, arts and crafts, games, and self motivated play. Children have the opportunity to play and interact with a range of age groups, helping their social confidence and their development
Our culture and values
Provide the necessary facilities for the daily care, recreation and education for children after school hours; and
Advance the education and training of the persons in the provision of such care, education and recreational facilities.
We care for around 140 children per day at the after school club, so that parents can finish their working day before collecting their children from school.
We employ around 15 play workers and other staff to care for the children.
We provide a range of training opportunities for our staff to build their skills such as first aid, supporting children with special educational needs etc.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
By implementing policies & procedure, we aim to ensure that Moss Hall Play Centre is a place where every child and adult feels valued, supported, and inspired to thrive. We believe that embracing diversity enriches our community and benefits everyone involved.
