About us

Who we are

MS-UK is a small national charity dedicated to empowering people with multiple sclerosis (MS) to live healthier and happier lives by improving their understanding of MS, and providing support where it is needed most.

We put people affected by MS at the heart of our work - that's around 150,000 people in the UK and 2.3 millio worldwide.

Our team are dedicated with a passion for making a difference. We pride ourselves on offering independent, unbiased information and support so people with MS can make their own choices.

Our culture and values

Our culture is open, inclusive and supportive, where a work life balance is promoted through flexible working and family friendly policies.

Our values were created in close conversation with people affected by MS, our staff and trustee board. We are community led, independent, professional, unbiased, non-judgemental and supportive.

We understand that the health and wellbeing of our staff is important, and offer a number of free benefits such as a health cash plan, employee assistance programme, life insurance and income protection, cycle to work and tech schemes, paid company sick pay, healthy lifestyle discounts and paid staff parking.

Equality, diversity and inclusion policy

MS-UK is committed to creating and promoting an equal, diverse and inclusive workplace for all employees and volunteers and anyone using our services, regardless of identity, background and circumstance.

We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to feel able to participate and develop their skills and talents to their full potential based on aptitude and ability, while being in a safe, respectful and supportive environment.
