About us
Who we are
Music24 is a leading community music charity, working to support people affected by ill-health and/or disability. We use the power of music to transform lives by reducing loneliness and isolation, improving wellbeing and building confidence, whilst providing vital social support networks. We specialise in working with people living with mental health issues, learning disabilities, the elderly and frail, and people living with dementia and their carers. Music24 currently make live music with 450+ people every year across Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.
Our culture and values
Our culture: friendly, community-focused, inclusive, and supportive—creating creative, non-judgemental spaces where people feel accepted and heard.
Our values:
- Compassion & kindness – we meet people where they are, with warmth and respect.
- Inclusion – we create welcoming spaces and aim to reduce loneliness and isolation.
- Empowerment – building confidence, voice and connection through music-making.
- Collaboration – we work as a team with participants, carers, partners and communities.
- Quality & professionalism – we take our safeguarding, delivery and learning seriously.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
Music24 is fully committed to equality, diversity and inclusion in every aspect of our work—as an employer, a service provider and a community organisation. We want everyone involved with Music24 (staff, volunteers, trustees, partners and the people we support) to be treated with dignity, respect and fairness. We work to remove barriers to participation, offer reasonable adjustments where needed, and challenge discrimination, bullying, harassment and victimisation.
