About us
Who we are
Napier Friends is a small charity supporting people seeking asylum who have been placed at Napier Barracks and other institutional asylum accommodation. Our mission is to help people seeking asylum to settle into the local community and their new lives in the UK. We build connections between people seeking asylum living at institutional asylum accommodation and other local people, provide a support network to people living at Napier and who have moved on from Napier, and offer meaningful activities that help people seeking asylum to adapt and integrate through learning English and learning about life in Britain, help people to advance themselves as they settle in the UK, and that improve the health and wellbeing.
