About us
Who we are
NAPA is a UK charity and professional association supporting activity providers and activity provision across care and support settings.
We champion the value of meaningful activity, engagement, creativity, connection and wellbeing. Our work supports activity providers, care teams, services and organisations to offer individuals more opportunities for purpose, choice, enjoyment and connection in everyday life.
Through membership, resources, training, campaigns, events, networks and professional development, NAPA helps people working in care and support settings to feel informed, inspired and valued.
We are a small, friendly and committed team with a national reach. Our work is practical, people-focused and rooted in the belief that meaningful activity is essential to quality of life.
Our culture and values
At NAPA, we believe every person has the right to a life filled with meaning, connection, choice and belonging.
Our work is guided by a commitment to meaningful activity, wellbeing, inclusion and person-centred practice. We value dignity, respect, creativity, individuality and the importance of people feeling heard, included and connected.
As a team, we are collaborative, supportive and purpose-driven. We welcome ideas, encourage learning and work together to raise the profile of activity provision across care and support settings.
We are proud to support the professionals who deliver wellbeing and engagement every day. Our culture is practical, warm and focused on making a positive difference for individuals, teams and services across the UK.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
Our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion across everything we do as an employer, as a membership organisation and as a national charity shaping practice across the care sector.
