About us
Who we are
Off the Record Twickenham (OTR) provides counselling, supported information and sexual health services to young people aged 11 to 24 who live, work and study in the borough of Richmond upon Thames.
Over the last twenty-three years, OTR has supported over 20,000 young people, helping them to overcome their difficulties, develop resilience, and experience improved mental health and well-being.
We provide the only dedicated walk-in counselling and information service for young people in this borough. OTR sees around 1,000 new young people every year, suggesting that of all the young people aged 11-24 who grow up in the borough, one in three visit its service at some point. OTR is entirely dependent on local funding and support to achieve its aims.
Our culture and values
OTR Twickenham adopts the following principles:
- Being young people-centred and valuing their contribution in all aspects of service development and delivery
- To provide a personal, responsive and inclusive service
