About us
Who we are
We are a friendly, inclusive and vibrant Anglican parish for all ages in the heart of Winchester.
We have two churches. St Matthew’s offers traditional worship in a small, ancient, friendly setting through its Sunday and Wednesday services.
St Paul’s Sunday 9.30 am Holy Communion is designed for all ages and seeks to balance a relaxed approach with a sense of the sacred. Many young parents and children come to St Paul’s, but so do single people, couples and those of every generation.
Both of our churches are known for being rooted in the local community and for having ‘soft edges’, which means that we’re committed to welcoming everyone, whoever they are and wherever they are on their journey of faith.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
Our churches are committed to encouraging equality, diversity, and inclusion among our workforce and volunteer base, and eliminating unlawful discrimination.
Our aim is for our workforce and volunteer base to be truly representative of all sections of society and our community, and for each person to feel respected and treated with dignity so that they are able to give their best.
The Churches - when providing goods, services and facilities - are committed to eliminating unlawful discrimination of church members, beneficiaries, guests or the public.
