About us
Who we are
Pathway is the UK’s leading homeless healthcare charity, and has helped 20+ hospitals in England and Wales to create teams who take care of thousands of homeless patients every year. However, many more people need our help. Our mission is to extend its network of teams and share the Pathway model more widely. The aim is to improve outcomes for homeless patients and help reduce health inequalities.
Pathway also carries out research and provides training through the Faculty for Homeless and Inclusion Health, a network of more than 2500 people who are passionate about healthcare for excluded groups. People who have been homeless are included in every area of our work.
Pathway’s vision is for better and more equitable health and wellbeing for all patients. Inclusion health matters because homelessness is a health issue – wider social determinants impact health, not just on individuals but the whole of society. We believe an integrated approach like Housing First could end homelessness for good.
Our culture and values
Pathway is a friendly, committed group of people, who provide a positive and proactive working environment. We are a flexible employer, and your working pattern can be agreed with your line manager.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
Pathway is an equal opportunities employer and is committed to growing a diverse workforce. We will make any necessary adaptations for disabled employees. We particularly encourage applications from people with lived experience of homelessness or other forms of social exclusion.
