About us
Who we are
Power to Connect began as a local partnership between Wandsworth Council and Battersea Power Station (BPSDC), created to help families struggling with home-schooling during the Covid-19 lockdown.
What started as an emergency response has grown into a long-term community movement tackling digital exclusion. Now an independent charity, we support over 1,000 people each year to get connected and develop essential digital skills.
Our work is powered by volunteers, local support, and a shared belief that digital access has the power to change lives.
