Improving lives and developing local pride, through professional theatre

RABBLE Theatre’s Charitable Aim
Advance education of the public in the arts, in particular through training and workshops
in all aspects of theatre and through providing performances for the benefit of the public in
order to inspire people of all ages and backgrounds in Reading, nationally and internationally to make their own change and engage in life-long learning.

Our culture and values

WHO WE ARE
RABBLE Theatre is a Reading-based charity founded in 2012. We tell local stories of national
significance and champion women.
Accessible to everyone, our work takes place in schools, community spaces and theatres. We
consistently focus on creating brilliant experiences that anyone can enjoy.
Our skilled leadership team and board of trustees have the appropriate lived and
professional experiences to direct the organisation, shape projects to address the challenges
communities face and to seize opportunity.

We’re a RABBLE who work efficiently and with great passion to work to the very highest
professional standards and ensure that every opportunity is physically and financially
accessible to all.

We are a professional Theatre Company who commission and stage award winning productions. We also work in partnership with a range of communities from all over Reading, to deliver projects that inspire excellence, teach new skills and provide pathways to a career in the arts.
