Who we are

Race Against Blood Cancer is a charity with a lofty ambition – that’s to give all blood cancer patients an equal chance of finding a lifesaving stem cell donor match.

Today there is a lack of diversity of registered donors which is resulting in too many cancer patients losing their battle against cancer and ultimately their lives.

As a charity our intention is to increase the number and diversity of registered donors via a three-pronged strategy:

1. Raise awareness of the issue and improve apathy
2. Educate people on the process of becoming a donor, while demystifying the many myths 
3. Help simplify the sign up process and make it more accessible
