About us
Who we are
We are a charity founded with the vision of supporting individuals who face significant barriers to employment and reintegration into society. Our work began with a focus on supporting those with Justice Service experience to help rebuild their lives by providing training, skills development, and support to successfully re-enter the workforce and their communities.
Over time, our mission expanded to include others facing obstacles such as long-term unemployment, disabilities, or limited access to education. We are committed to creating opportunities for those who need them most, empowering individuals to overcome challenges and helping them build a brighter future. Through this work, we also aim to strengthen and uplift our local community, fostering a more inclusive, resilient society where everyone has the chance to thrive.
Our culture and values
Values
Rehabilitation with respect – your past is your past; we are here to help you build your future
Bold and Brave – we are aspirational and will seek innovative new ways to support our people and communities
Welcoming – Rebuild with Hope is an inclusive organisation
Honest with hope – we will always be open and honest with everyone we work with - no false promises or unrealistic goals
Focused and ferocious – the team will work tirelessly to support those with whom we work
We value people and the good they can do within their community, the sharing of gains and resources. Our community hub model is pivotal to the Foundation’s vision of providing a place built on compassion, offering kindness and an ear to listen as well as the practicalities of support services and low cost clothing and homewares; a place to draw strength from each other over a hot beverage as well as somewhere providing employment and volunteering opportunities for people with complex needs and barriers to employment.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
Equal Opportunities and Diversity
