About us

Who we are

Riverside Counselling Service has been operating since 1989. Our vision is for stronger, healthier communities where mental health support is accessible to all. Our mission is to improve quality of life across South Oxfordshire by providing high-quality, accessible, and affordable counselling for adults and young people. We offer one-to-one sessions and therapeutic groups, adapting our services to meet local needs through strong community engagement. We operate across South Oxfordshire with community hubs for our counselling in Henley-on-Thames and, Wallingford. We run a therapeutic group in Didcot and a brief intervention service in Berinsfield. Riverside is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
