About us
Who we are
At Rotherham Hospital & Community Charity, we support the Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust to go above and beyond. While the Trust receives core funding from the Government, we fund vital equipment, services, and projects that enhance care and patient experience beyond the standard NHS budget.
Our mission is to make sure that every patient, and their loved ones, receive the best possible care. From state-of-the-art equipment to specialist services and community projects, we make a tangible difference every day to patients, staff, and the wider Rotherham community.
Our culture and values
At Rotherham Hospital & Community Charity, our culture is built on collaboration, compassion, and a shared commitment to making a real difference in the lives of patients, staff, and the community. We believe in working together with transparency, integrity, and respect, fostering an environment where everyone’s contribution is valued.
We champion innovation, creativity, and initiative, encouraging our team to develop new ideas and solutions that enhance care and engagement. Supporting our staff and volunteers to thrive, we promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace where ambition is encouraged, achievements are celebrated, and impact is at the heart of everything we do.
Our values guide how we operate, how we engage with the community, and how we empower others to contribute to the growth and success of the Charity.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
Rotherham Hospital & Community Charity is committed to creating a workplace that is fair, inclusive, and free from discrimination. We value diversity and believe that people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives bring unique contributions that strengthen our organisation and the communities we serve.
We are dedicated to providing equal opportunities in recruitment, development, and progression, ensuring all staff and volunteers are treated with respect and dignity.
