Who we are

Development & Alumni Relations Team

The RGS Development & Alumni Relations team works with Old Guildfordians (OGs), parents and staff, past and present. We offer them unique networking opportunities and encourage them to strengthen their ties with RGS Guildford, supporting students and the School to pass on the gift of a first-class education. Our fundraising work is now focused on growing support for the RGS Bursary Programme, which sits at the heart of the Headmaster’s Vision for the School.

The Headmaster’s Vision

In 2016, the Headmaster stated that his ambition was to achieve full merit-based open access to the RGS within a generation; to be a school where every bright boy who earns his place can take it up, irrespective of financial circumstances. It is a bold aspiration, and the RGS is one of only a handful of this country’s independent schools to have set such a goal.
