About us
Who we are
RSPCA Buckinghamshire South Branch (RSPCA South Bucks)
Formed in 1964, RSPCA South Bucks supports the work of the national RSPCA and the owners of domestic animals in South Buckinghamshire. While we operate within the framework of the national RSPCA, we are a separately registered charity with our own governance and fundraising responsibilities. Our branch covers a wide area across South Buckinghamshire, including Chesham, Burnham, High Wycombe and Princes Risborough.
We rely on fundraising, public donations and income from our two charity shops (Chesham and Burnham) to support our dedicated work. Our focus is on rehabilitating and rehoming small animals such as cats, rabbits, birds, guinea pigs and hamsters, as well as providing subsidised microchipping, neutering and veterinary treatments for those in financial hardship. We also play an active role in educating the community on responsible pet ownership.
Our work is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees and delivered by a blend of staff and volunteers.
