Who we are
Safer Places is an independent charity which provides a comprehensive range of services to adults and children affected by domestic abuse who live in Essex and Hertfordshire. We are a progressive Domestic Abuse Support Service, passionate about reaching and supporting all victims of domestic abuse on the basis of risk, need and choice. We understand that different groups have different needs and may be more or less reluctant to come forward and we are continually developing our services to ensure that they are accessible and acceptable to all those who need them.
The support we offer is confidential, free and individually tailored. We believe in a person-led approach to recovery.

Our culture and values
Working for Safer Places is no ordinary job. Every role in our organisation plays a part in delivering on our Mission.
