Who we are
Founded in 2016, The Super Power Agency aims to improve the lives and literacy rates of some of Edinburgh's most under-resourced areas. Through a range of writing workshops, interdisciplinary creative programmes and the help of community volunteers, we aim to empower children and young people (8-18 years) through literacy. We are currently working with schools and youth-serving organisations in Edinburgh and beyond.
Our culture and values
Our mission is to improve self-esteeme and aspiration via the most fundamental superpower - the baility to write!
Working in some of Scotland’s most disadvantaged and under-resourced areas, we aim to make learning fun. Our workshops encourage and empower young people to put pen to paper, build their writing skills and to express themselves with confidence. In doing so, we hope no young person in Scotland will leave school without the confidence to write.
