The Multibank (Official name The National Family Centre Limited)

Who we are

A Multibank is a clothes, bedding, baby, hygiene products, toys and furniture bank all rolled into one. The idea is simple: companies have the surplus goods people need and local charities know the people who need them. The Multibank initiative connects the two to reduce the effects of poverty, enable children to access opportunities while contributing to a sustainable economy.

The first Multibank started in Fife in 2022 and we now have six Multibanks across Scotland, England and Wales with plans to set up more.

We work with some amazing corporate partners already. You can see more about this on our website (https://themultibank.co.uk/suppliers), but the need is great and more are needed.

Our ambition is to distribute 20 million products a year as soon as possible.

Our culture and values

We fight poverty and pollution. All products we donate don’t go to waste. They are distributed via teachers, social workers and charities to families in need. 

Multibanks take goods, such as personal hygiene items, bedding and clothing to ensure usable products don’t go to waste.
