About us
Who we are
We are a Animal rescue charity registration number: 1210189 based in West Sussex, set up to provide care, rehoming, education and treatment to Ill, injured and unwanted reptiles. We are a small organisation which is run purely through expertise by volunteers.
Our culture and values
To protect and improve the welfare of reptiles and amphibians through rescue operations, education, responsible rehoming, and advocacy. We believe every life matters—no matter how small, scaly, or unusual.
The SRRC is entirely self-funded, which means we rely on public donations and grants to continue our vital work in caring for sick, Injured, and unwanted Reptiles in the UK. All donations to the Reptile Centre help care for reptiles needing a new home and assist in paying vet bills, medication, food, and substrate, staff/volunteer costs, including staff/volunteer training and more.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
We are an inclusive charity and are willing to work with all individuals from different cultures, socio-economic backgrounds, races and individuals with disabilities. We will make reasonable adjustments.
