About us
Who we are
We psupport elderly, vulnerable and disabled residents of Wokingham Borough through the provision of volunteer-based essential services. Our projects include a community transport service, where volunteers use their own car to take people to vital medical appointments, as well as organised social activities to reduce loneliness; a basic gardening service for people who can no longer manage by themselves, have no family, friends or neighbours who can help and can't afford a commercial gardening service; and we promote volunteering and provide a matching service for volunteers to find suitable roles with our local charities and volntary organisations. Our overall aim is to help people live happily and safely at home, for longer.
