Who we are

Tower Hamlets Education Business Partnership (THEBP) is an inspirational and well-established charity, supporting disadvantaged students by giving them the skills to succeed in the world of work and access to top quality careers.

We are based in the lively Liverpool Street/Aldgate East area. We work with our local students in the borough of Tower Hamlets and beyond, where intergenerational unemployment and low social mobility affect many of our young people. Our projects, supported by volunteers from the business community, tackle these issues directly.

We have two visions for our organisation:

- For young people to learn more, do more, become more

- To make volunteering easy, enjoyable and enriching

We are very proud to work with nearly every state school in Tower Hamlets, and annually we work with around 90 primary, secondary and special educational needs schools.

We also work with some of the largest and most front-running businesses in the UK, heading up national and global expertise and industry in banking and finance, consultancy, law, insurance and technology. This allows the quality of volunteer input to remain second to none for our local students.

Working for Tower Hamlets EBP provides an important work-life balance as we are generous with staff holiday entitlement and working hours are 34 per week. Our staff is expert in theri fields, often coming from a teaching or corporate background themselves. We would love you to join us!
