About us
Who we are
Trans Celebration is a trans-led, grassroots human rights and community organisation dedicated to highlighting issues affecting trans and gender-diverse people in the United Kingdom and improving the quality of their lives.
We work tirelessly to protect and promote the basic rights and services needed by our trans community. At Trans Celebration, we have monthly awareness campaigns that celebrate and educate Trans and non-binary people on gender diversity via channels such as Fashion, Arts and Beauty. We advocate for inclusivity, so trans-friendly products can be more accessible to trans and gender non-conforming people.
Our culture and values
At Trans Celebration, our culture is one of visibility, empowerment, and joy. We are a trans-led grassroots organisation founded on the principle that trans and gender-diverse people deserve to live openly, creatively, and safely. We believe in the power of self-expression as a tool for liberation and community-building. Our monthly campaigns reflect this by spotlighting trans and non-binary people in fashion, beauty, and the arts — creating cultural spaces where gender diversity is not just accepted, but honoured and celebrated.
We are committed to community-led change that centres lived experience, resilience, and creativity. We prioritise collaboration over hierarchy, and we believe that healing and advocacy go hand in hand. Our values are shaped by the understanding that trans lives are valuable, complex, and worthy of celebration — not just in times of crisis, but always.
At our core, we are building a future where trans people are not merely included, but uplifted, seen, and empowered to thrive on their own terms. Everything we do is guided by love, dignity, and an unwavering commitment to trans joy.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
Trans Celebration is built on a foundation of radical inclusion and intersectional equity. We know that trans people do not exist in isolation from other forms of identity and oppression — and our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) work reflects this. We work to break down the systemic barriers that disproportionately affect Black and Brown trans people, disabled trans people, neurodivergent individuals, and others from marginalised communities.
We believe that trans rights are human rights, and that equity must be more than just words — it must mean real access to services, recognition, and safety in everyday life. Our EDI commitment means addressing not only exclusion but also the systems that perpetuate discrimination and inequality. Every trans person deserves the resources and support needed to live freely in their affirmed identity.
Our approach to inclusion is proactive, not performative. We advocate for accessible, trans-friendly services and products, and we work to ensure that our campaigns and events reflect the full spectrum of gender diversity. Whether someone is socially transitioning, exploring their identity, or firmly rooted in their truth, we are here to support them every step of the way.
At Trans Celebration, inclusion isn’t a box we tick — it’s the reason we exist.
