About us
Who we are
TRC Sexual Abuse & Rape Support Greater Manchester (TRC) was set up in 2010 to offer a free and confidential service for survivors of sexual violence or rape no matter when or where this happened.
We provide free, trauma-informed counselling for survivors, as well as an anonymous telephone helpline, Live Chat and email service; advocacy and support whilst going through the criminal justice system; and help engaging with counselling and the NHS for people with complex mental health.
We provide client-centred services and tailor our support to meet survivors where they are.
Our culture and values
We are a feminist organisation and seek to take steps to break down rape culture in our society through campaigning and education.
We believe survivors.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
We champion equality, equity, diversity and inclusion at TRC Sexual Abuse & Rape Support Greater Manchester and are constantly striving to challenge and improve our policies and working practices. We believe in being anti-oppressive and aim to become an anti-racist organisation.
