Trustee for several different charities in Sompting and Binsted, W Sussex

Who we are

The two churches' Friends and PCC charities look after 900/1000 year old buildings which are oases of rural tranquillity, beauty and connection with nature and heritage and music and the arts.  They are also hubs for caring and supportive communities and need to be maintained and enhanced to provide all these services better.  At the moment the primary need for bidwriting is for building repairs and enhancements.

Sustainable Sussex provides opportunities for volunteers and referred people to grow, process, cook, enjoy and sell food together in supported and mutually supportive teams.  There are many needs for bidwriting help and some volunteer help has been available however we are exploring options for much more challenging bidwriting to HLF and government funding sources for ambitious buildings for the community farm.
