Who we are

The UK Council for International Student Affairs was founded in 1968, and has since grown into a membership organisation and national charity that supports and advocates for international students.

As well as giving advice direct to students, we support our members by providing training, up-to-date guidance about immigration rules and information about the wider student experience. By working collaboratively with our members we are able to advocate for both our memebers and international students.

We are a small organisation of 19 staff based in London with nearly 400 members.  Our membership includes universities in the UK, many FE colleges, independent schools and students' unions.
