About us
Who we are
We aim to increase physical and mental well being and reduce isolation in blind and partially sighted adults. We do this by involving them in adventurous activities.
We bring together visually impaired adults (VIPs) along with volunteer sighted guides on courses involving a range of adventurous activities.
Operating from the heart of the stunning landscapes of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, our courses take place in various accommodations across these beautiful national parks. We administer the charity from home offices and have an equipment store based near Kendal, allowing us to offer personalised experiences tailored to the needs of our participants.
As we enter an exciting stage in our development, we are driven by a passion to create lasting impact, improve lives, and foster an inclusive community for all.
While we value our organisation's family feel and friendliness we also place great emphasis on professionalism.
